The Full Story of Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim, Narrated (Video)

Skyrim is considered by many as one of the best games of all time. I have spent countless hours with the game and still return to it on occasion. The fan made mods, the Special Edition’s improved stability, the 8k textures, there’s always something that pules me back to the game. Morrowind and Oblivion might do a few things better, however Skyrim still has that special feeling of an Elder Scrolls game.

Elder Scrolls games were always rich in lore and had intricate storylines with many intertwining quests. There was always depth for people seeking it. Tough choices, conflicted characters, the narrative was always compelling and the side quests entertaining. Who can forget the lusty Argonian maid?

After watching the 25 years Elder Scrolls promotional video, I also saw another video telling the story of the Dragonborn and the world of Skyrim. Even though I have played through the game many times, this video kept my attention for all of its 2 hours! It is just that good.

The narrator explains the wider conflict of the Third Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion and goes into the details and reasons for the civil war. We see the game world, some playthrough and cut scenes, but mostly it’s the narrator’s commentary about the Dovahkiin, the main quests and some bits about Nord culture.

Honestly, I quite enjoyed it and decided to bring it here. It’s perfect for those who haven’t finished Skyrim, but want to know how the main story plays out, or if you haven’t played Skyrim at all and want a nice story from the continent of Tamriel.

For me, it bought back the nostalgia and allowed me inside the world for a moment, without having to jump on the keyboard and mouse, or create characters, install mods, etc. Highly recommended!
